This soon to be American Classic was written by (KIA) M.T. Loong, a disabled, wheel chair bound Vietnam Veteran. In an attempt to overcome the agony and frustration and immediate "fight or flight response," of the terrorist attacks on September 11th, 2001.

Kia lost two godsons in that tragedy. To cope with this wake up call upon America, Kia expressed the Love for this Great Country and the way the citizens of the USA came together in a time when Americans had to reestablish their roots in The Great United States of America!

A song was evolved through the eyes, heart and soul of this disabled Veteran. "Proud to be Americans Are We" A Patriotic song for today's Americans. To be a classic along side "God Bless America" and America the Beautiful," This song brings out the emotions of the American People the way the other classics brought out the emotions during their time.
